About the Company

A privately held industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a growing 24/7 production facility. The site supports 25 major production machines, includes specialty process areas, and is currently undergoing expansion.

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Owning facilitylevel maintenance leadership for a 24/7 operation
  • Making safety the #1 priority across all maintenance activities
  • Leading a team of hourly maintenance personnel and a maintenance purchasing clerk
  • Driving the transition from reactive to proactive maintenance
  • Reducing downtime and improving schedule attainment and throughput
  • Developing and tracking maintenance KPIs tied to uptime and reliability
  • Performing root cause analysis and executing preventive and predictive strategies
  • Leveraging a CMMS to manage PMs, work orders, and reporting
  • Managing spare parts inventory and thirdparty vendor relationships
  • Providing clear, consistent maintenance communication and status updates to operations
  • Supporting future machine installs and expansionrelated projects
  • Evaluating staffing levels and hiring/developing the right talent
  • Participating in maintenance budgeting, labor planning, and capital inputs
  • Coordinating maintenance efforts with production scheduling and manufacturing leadership

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting 24/7 operations
  • Strong problemsolving and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, enforce accountability, and drive results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organizational and followthrough ability
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

  • Experience in metals or heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Experience implementing or improving preventive maintenance programs
  • CMMS experience
  • Project management exposure related to new equipment or facility expansion
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
