Production Supervisor
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead overnight manufacturing operations (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Monday - Friday) in a fast-paced production environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused operations while developing employees and driving performance across the shift.
The ideal candidate will be a visible leader who thrives on the production floor, enjoys coaching teams, and has a track record of driving results through engagement and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach hourly production employees during the overnight shift.
- Communicate daily production goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Monitor labor efficiency, downtime, waste, and overall operational performance.
- Drive employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train, develop, and support production team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and employee documentation as needed.
- Allocate staffing and resources to meet production demands.
- Participate in safety audits, floor observations, and operational reviews.
- Complete shift reporting and ensure effective communication between shifts.
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing leadership experience or demonstrated leadership experience through work, military service, athletics, education and/or campus organizations, or other team-based environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop hourly employees
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Basic computer proficiency
