About the Role
We're looking for a Procurement Buyer to join our team and support critical aerospace and defense programs. In this role, you'll manage tactical procurement activities, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and ITAR, and help source and qualify new suppliers to keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Execute purchase orders and manage material flow to meet production schedules
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and internal policies
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen our supply chain
- Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve material issues
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and government contracting
- Skilled in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with AS9100 standards
- Familiarity with export control regulations
