About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement / Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies for contract manufacturing services and electronic components, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and risk mitigation across a complex international supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies for contract manufacturing and electronic components
- Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams for new product introductions
- Monitor market trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or category management (EPC, industrial automation, manufacturing)
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- ERP/SAP experience
- Excellent communication skills in English; German or Slovak language skills in addition
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and manage multiple stakeholders
