Key Responsibilities

End‑to‑End Project Delivery

  • Provide full leadership and oversight for multiple construction projects within the Asia Pacific region, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets are achieved.
  • Develop and execute project strategies-including contracting, procurement approaches, construction sequencing, commissioning plans, and risk frameworks.
  • Serve as the point of accountability for project outcomes, escalating major risks and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Construction Management & Execution Excellence

  • Implement industry‑leading project management processes, quality control measures, and cost‑control methodologies.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, design packages, and construction documents to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with site requirements.
  • Maintain robust governance through structured reporting, progress tracking, issue escalation, and stakeholder alignment.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with cross‑regional teams in Facilities, EHS, Procurement, Finance, and Engineering to ensure seamless coordination of design, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, and industry partners to meet project compliance, standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, ethical conduct, business guidelines, and regulatory expectations at all times.

Risk, Safety & Compliance

  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all projects follow global safety frameworks and local regulatory requirements.
  • Identify project risks-including technical, financial, supply, and schedule impacts-and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all construction and commissioning activities comply with global standards for advanced manufacturing environments.

Leadership, Stakeholder Engagement & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary project and construction management team, building strong performance capability in a high‑complexity environment.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and partner to internal customers, maintaining alignment on needs, expectations, progress, and challenges.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams and project partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field. Master's degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role (Senior Project Manager or Director level).
  • Significant experience managing multi‑disciplinary construction programs within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of EPCM project delivery, project controls, risk assessment, and technical/commercial governance.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, and cross‑functional global teams in fast‑paced, high‑precision environments.
  • Demonstrated skills in cost and schedule management, decision‑making, analytical problem‑solving, and organizational planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to visualize risks/issues and present them clearly.
  • Comfortable working within global, multicultural teams and willing to travel regularly for project oversight.
