The Maintenance Leader responsibilities include:
- Setting tactical and strategic direction for the maintenance department and providing SHE leadership to support improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring safe operation of the maintenance team through training and enforcing safety rules, and evaluating employee performance.
- Managing maintenance work planning, scheduling processes, site maintenance costs, and developing strategies for world-class performance.
- Identifying and executing initiatives to improve operational performance, overseeing contractor activities, and managing capital and expense projects.
- Maximizing plant uptime, performing life cycle cost analysis, maintaining equipment records, and ensuring compliance with OSHA's Process Safety Management regulation.
The Maintenance Leader should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in maintenance within chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan requirements for chemical plants
