Maintenance Supervisor
Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on and knowledgeable Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our client's bioenergy production facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the repair, upkeep, and reliability of plant equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and process components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance within the renewable energy, biofuels, or biomass sectors and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians and contractors
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Troubleshoot and repair process equipment such as turbines, pumps, conveyors, and control systems
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to reduce downtime
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to meet plant performance targets
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or energy-related facility
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
Supervisory or team leadership experience required
Familiarity with CMMS tools and reliability-centered maintenance practices
Technical diploma or associate degree in a relevant field; bachelor's degree preferred
