About the Role
A renowned and iconic luxury retailer is seeking an experienced Category Manager for Marketing Procurement to lead strategic sourcing across a diverse and creative portfolio. This is a high‑impact role responsible for managing approximately 100M CHF in marketing spend, shaping premium brand experiences, and elevating the execution of global marketing initiatives.
Working closely with senior marketing stakeholders, you will oversee end‑to‑end procurement for events, gifts, showcases, boutique display elements, and digital marketing concept creation. You will play a key role in shaping briefs, advising on marketing tactics, and ensuring suppliers deliver exceptional quality aligned with world‑class luxury standards.
You will join a growing procurement function of experienced Category Managers, reporting directly into the CPO, with strong visibility and strategic influence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and category strategy for marketing activities including events, showcases, promotional items, and digital creative content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to challenge and shape briefs, and identify the most effective marketing tactics.
- Manage the full RFQ/RFP lifecycle, from brief development to contracting and supplier performance management.
- Build and maintain a high‑quality supplier ecosystem aligned with luxury market expectations.
- Deliver cost optimisation while maintaining excellence in creativity, craftsmanship, and brand experience.
- Support broader procurement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years' experience in marketing procurement, ideally across international or complex environments.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience in the luxury sector is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in RFQ/RFP management, negotiation, and supplier selection in creative and marketing categories.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and supplier management capabilities, with a passion for premium brand execution.
Working Model
- Hybrid model including a mix of on‑site and remote work.
- On‑site presence required at the company's Swiss headquarters
