Packaging Section Head
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Manage raw material and consumable availability to avoid downtime.
- Drive execution of new product introductions and process improvements.
- Monitor quality through in-process checks and compliance with GMP standards.
- Coordinate maintenance and engineering to minimize machine downtime.
- Optimize resource utilization, including manpower and packaging materials.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to improve yield, reduce losses, and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure audit readiness and handle investigations, deviations, and CAPA.
- Promote workplace safety and conduct training on SOPs and safety norms.
- Implement continuous improvement practices for production and packaging.
- Track machine performance, changeover times, and yield metrics to sustain targets.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field from an accredited institution (preferred).
- 4 -7 years of experience in formulation manufacturing within a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing procedures, cGMP standards, and systems-related documentation.
