Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects within our chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering or industrial project management, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a deep understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of capital and process improvement projects.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate internal teams and external contractors to ensure alignment and progress.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.
- Manage project budgets, procurement, and cost control.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and presentations for leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Master's preferred).
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.
- 5+ years of engineering, project management, project engineering, and/or construction management with operations facility is required
- Strong knowledge of chemical processing equipment, instrumentation, and plant operations.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
