Director of Quality
Position Overview: The Quality Director will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management systems within our organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry and a strong background in ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes into all aspects of product development and manufacturing.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and certification.
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce defects and returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry.
- Proven expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
