Quality Manager

Position Overview:
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading quality assurance and control activities to ensure that heavy machinery products meet industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement, managing quality systems, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in compliance with ISO and industry standards.
  • Oversee inspection, testing, and audit processes for components and finished machinery.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Manage supplier quality programs and conduct vendor audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defects.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality management within heavy machinery or industrial equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma), and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
