Quality Technologist - Textile
Our client who's a global buying office with regional office in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Quality Technologist - Textile / Apparel to join the quality team.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and trouble-shooting on any technical issues
- Establish and monitor quality standards to ensure all process is on track including document quality control procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers externally in the inspection process and quality standards of products flowing into finished goods.
- Establish standards for quality control of incoming raw materials
- Coordinate compliance of the standards with merchandising team as well as product development team
- Implement inspection procedures and establish record-keeping systems.
- Set up system to ensure QC inspections and reporting are carried out to company requirements at first article, in line and finished goods and packing stages of production.
Job Requirements
- At least 3-5 years Quality Assurance experience in Garment industry
- Hands-on solid quality assurance and related quality and technical standards
- Good knowledge of Quality Tools and global quality standards for overseas markets such as Europe or US or Asia
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese
- Occasional factory visits to China is needed but not frequent
