Do you have strong commercial acumen and an affinity for transport and logistics? Are you customer-focused and solution-oriented? Do you thrive on securing new clients and growing business? Then you're the Sales Representative we're looking for!
We are expanding our Sales team in Rotterdam and looking for two dynamic professionals:
- Sales Hunter - with at least 2 years of additional experience, a track record of winning new business, and knowledge of import/export flows in the Netherlands.
- Sales Executive - with strong commercial instincts and a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Your Role
You'll be part of a growing Sales team, collaborating with colleagues in Rotterdam and other locations. You'll be responsible for generating new business, maintaining and expanding existing accounts, and representing our company's values and services to clients.
You'll report directly to the Sales Manager and work in a dynamic, energetic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business and expand existing accounts
- Visit potential and existing customers
- Issue and follow up on quotations
- Record visit details in reports
- Implement newly acquired business
- Explore opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Monitor market trends and developments
- Translate customer needs into tailored logistics solutions
- Present proposals and quotations effectively
- Keep CRM system up-to-date with all relevant information
Your Profile
- HBO-level education or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in a similar role within logistics (groupage transport experience is a must)
- Proven commercial success in solution-oriented sales
- Entrepreneurial, persuasive, independent, and results-driven
- Strong customer orientation and business insight
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
