Senior Product Engineer
DSJ Global has partnered with a world-renowned manufacturer in the search for a highly skilled Electrical/Electronics Engineer with deep expertise in electronic controls for electric power systems. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of grid-connected technologies by ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the development of new grid-related products and the enhancement of existing systems.
- Design and document electrical systems, including the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Analyze and interpret interface requirements for grid products, developing robust solutions that align with project goals and exceed customer expectations.
- Serve as the engineering lead for product certifications, including UL, CSA, and CE, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance matrix for both new and existing products, with a focus on UL 1741 (SB) and UL 508 standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 20% to support product development, testing, and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in Systems Engineering, preferably within the power systems or energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of global compliance standards and certification processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
