Job Summary:
The Senior Production and Utilities Engineer plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes and utility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. This position leads continuous improvement initiatives, supports plant reliability, and ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily production activities, troubleshoot process issues, and drive performance improvements across chemical manufacturing units.
  • Manage and optimize utility systems including steam, compressed air, cooling water, and wastewater treatment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process control strategies and capital projects.
  • Monitor KPIs and analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency, yield, and energy savings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support training initiatives.
  • Interface with maintenance, EHS, and technical teams to support plant reliability and sustainability goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or industrial utilities.
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering, utility systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
