Senior Quality Manager - Apparel (Lifestyle Fashion)
My client is a global fashion group with own brands within apparel, footwear and accessories.
Due to internal business needs, they are seeking an experienced technical senior manager to join their regional sourcing office in Hong Kong. A potential fit would be someone who's strong in technical services such as product testing, compliance, product development as focus, working along with sourcing and fitting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-boarding and training for new factories; oversee technical audits and quality improvements.
- Manage inspection schedules and benchmark QA results across internal and third-party teams.
- Mentor and develop the apparel quality and technical team; support performance and compliance.
- Participate in pre-production meetings and report on quality issues and delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence and regional fit.
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years in apparel within lifestyle fashion or sportswear from global buying offices as well as with manufacturing and testing centre experience
- Academic background in Textile, Quality Management, material development
- Strong knowledge of global fashion compliance standards and inspection systems, able to set standards and issue product testing reports
- Fluent in English and Chinese; Mandarin a plus.
- Willing to travel across factories within Asia including China
