Senior Supply Chain Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Supply Chain Excellence Manager to join our client's team in Antwerp. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives that drive operational excellence across the supply chain, with a strong focus on optimizing 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partnerships and developing high-performing teams. You will play a key role in shaping supply chain strategy, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
3PL Relationship Management:
- Lead and manage strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers.
- Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance through KPIs and SLAs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with logistics partners to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
Leadership & People Management:
- Manage and develop a team of supply chain professionals, including people managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure team growth and engagement.
Process Optimization & Excellence:
- Identify and implement best practices across supply chain operations (planning, warehousing, transportation, etc.).
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve supply chain efficiency, agility, and sustainability.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to drive process improvements.
Data & Performance Management:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Commercial teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.
- Act as a key point of contact for supply chain excellence initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing 3PL relationships and leading people managers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain analytics tools.
