Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Process Engineer with Black Belt certification to lead strategic improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven methodologies, and mentoring cross-functional teams to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a key resource for process optimization, providing teams with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to enhance performance.
- Lead the deployment of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across departments, ensuring practical application and measurable impact.
- Identify, scope, and prioritize improvement projects aligned with organizational goals; track progress and assess ongoing opportunities for enhancement.
- Facilitate open communication across teams and departments to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Deliver timely and accurate reports, insights, and recommendations based on project findings and data analysis.
- Maximize the effective use of personnel and resources to support project execution and operational efficiency.
- Encourage a sense of ownership and accountability within teams to drive engagement and results.
- Integrate team-based approaches into both project work and daily operations to strengthen collaboration and innovation.
- Travel up to 15% may be required to support project needs.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience in process improvement, operations, or engineering roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and apply advanced problem-solving techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, business reports, and regulatory guidelines.
- Skilled in preparing clear, concise documentation and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of Six Sigma tools and concepts, including control charts, root cause analysis, process capability, and the Pareto principle.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (or willingness to obtain certification).
Preferred Skills
- Experience mentoring Green Belts and facilitating Six Sigma training sessions.
- Familiarity with statistical software and data visualization tools.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
