Sr Yield Enhancement Engineer
A cutting-edge manufacturer of advanced power and microelectronic solutions is seeking a Senior Yield Enhancement Engineer to lead critical efforts in process optimization and yield improvement across complex manufacturing lines. This role is ideal for a data-driven engineer with a background in semiconductor, microelectronics, or power device manufacturing who thrives in a collaborative and high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze process and test data to identify yield detractors and drive systematic improvements across manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Lead cross-functional root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve yield-impacting issues.
- Partner with process engineering, quality, and design teams to develop and implement solutions that enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain yield dashboards and statistical models to monitor trends and enable proactive decision-making.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by evaluating yield risks and providing input on process capability and robustness.
- Conduct experiments (DOE) to optimize parameters and improve yield and process stability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in yield enhancement, process engineering, or device engineering in a semiconductor or advanced electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of yield analysis tools, root cause analysis techniques, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with failure analysis, test data analytics, and manufacturing data systems (e.g., JMP, Python, SQL, MES).
- Familiarity with wafer-level processing, packaging, or power device technologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
