Supply Chain Director - Mechanical Component Manufacturer
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Director to join our team in Hong Kong as their regional sales office. This individual is someone who thrives on challenges and is committed to driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence within supply chain end-to-end functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all facets of the supply chain, ensuring end-to-end functions and the timely delivery of products and services. This includes warehouse operations, DC across China and Global hubs in all-rounded logistics management
- Facilitate in inventory management, supply planning and demand planning strategies
- Design and implement forward-thinking strategies aimed at optimising supply chain processes, reducing operational costs, and enhancing overall efficiency. Your leadership will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to align supply chain activities with broader organisational objectives and business goals.
- Collaboration will be central to ensuring a unified approach.
- Leverage analytic tools and methodologies to interpret data, identify trends, and make accurate demand forecasts. This will be critical in maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting business growth.
- Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices specific to the aerospace component manufacturing sector. Your expertise will help maintain the highest levels of quality, safety, and operational integrity.
Job Requirement:
- Demonstrated experience in managing multifaceted supply chain operations across international markets. A deep understanding of logistics, warehousing, distribution centre and inventory control is essential.
- Strong in strategic demand planning, supply planning and process improvement
- Proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
- Balance long-term strategic planning with the need to address immediate operational demands.
- Advanced analytical capabilities to evaluate performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.
- Experience working in component manufacturers especially mechanical parts and material for aerospace industry is highly desired
- Strong in communication skills in Chinese including Mandarin as well as fluent English
