Technical Manager
Job Summary:
The Technical Services Manager leads the technical support function for specialty chemical products, acting as a key liaison between manufacturing, R&D, sales, and customers. This role ensures product performance, supports troubleshooting, and drives innovation through process optimization and application development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support for product applications, troubleshooting, and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to scale up new products and improve existing formulations.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for product quality or performance issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, SDS, and application guides.
- Support commercial teams with customer visits, presentations, and technical training.
- Monitor industry trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in technical services or product development within specialty chemicals.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., REACH, TSCA) and quality systems (e.g., ISO).
