About the Job

Our client is seeking a driven Account Executive to join a fast-growing custom manufacturing company specializing in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, cast components, and injection molding. This is a true hunter role focused on generating new business through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, trade shows, and strategic account development. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and engaging engineering, procurement, and operations leaders to managing RFQs, negotiating contracts, and closing business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of winning new accounts, enjoys building territory plans from the ground up, and is comfortable navigating technical sales discussions within industrial or manufacturing environments. This role offers significant autonomy, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to play a key role in the company's continued growth while developing long-term customer relationships across a national territory.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or technical markets.
  • Proven track record of generating new business through outbound prospecting and territory development.
  • Experience selling to engineering, procurement, supply chain, or operations stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and customer requirements.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable managing a remote territory and travel schedule.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to generate new business opportunities and build a robust pipeline.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, quoting, negotiations, and closing new accounts.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within engineering, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Manage RFQs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver competitive manufacturing solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and sales activity reporting.
  • Travel up to 30% for customer visits, trade shows, and business development activities.
