🌍 Your Mission
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be the crucial link between our organization and new clients. You'll focus on identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering tailored freight forwarding solutions that meet the evolving needs of businesses across various industries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business leads and converting them into long-term partnerships.
- Promoting a diverse portfolio of freight forwarding services across multiple verticals.
- Visiting prospects and clients throughout the Netherlands and wider Benelux region.
- Collaborating with internal teams to craft customized logistics solutions.
- Managing your customer portfolio using Salesforce CRM.
- Leading tenders, preparing quotations, and negotiating contracts independently.
🎯 What You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in a commercial freight forwarding or account management role.
- A bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- A solid grasp of corporate financials (costs, margins, profitability).
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong intercultural communication skills.
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset and a passion for solving complex logistics challenges.
