Business Implementation Manager
The Business Implementation Manager is responsible for the successful roll-out and adoption of digital freight and supply chain solutions across global operations. Acting as the link between business, technology, and customers, this role ensures new processes, systems, and operating models are effectively integrated into day-to-day logistics activities. The focus is on business transformation, operational integration, stakeholder engagement, and driving measurable outcomes rather than traditional project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation projects across freight execution, control tower, procurement, and ocean freight SaaS solutions.
- Ensure the successful integration of new systems, processes, and operating models into business operations.
- Support customers in optimising logistics processes and improving operational performance.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, process gaps, and adoption challenges.
- Work closely with Operations, Product, Technology, Procurement, and regional teams to align business requirements with system capabilities.
- Drive adoption of scalable standardised operating models while accommodating regional requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success teams to support successful delivery and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline customer processes through the platform.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and key stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience in ocean freight, supply chain, logistics technology, or SaaS implementation.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and process improvement.
- Proven stakeholder management and implementation/project delivery experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design efficiency-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
- Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about driving change within the logistics industry.
