Corporate EHS Manager
Our client, a global industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Corporate Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to provide dedicated EHS leadership during a critical short-term operational assignment. During the first 12-18 months, this individual will spend approximately two weeks per month onsite at a domestic manufacturing facility, supporting local operations while maintaining select corporate EHS responsibilities.
Upon completion of the assignment, the position will transition into a strategic Corporate EHS Manager role based in Colorado. In this capacity, the successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for developing, standardizing, and implementing enterprise-wide EHS programs, management systems, and compliance initiatives across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement EHS data collection and reporting systems to support enterprise-wide trend analysis and best-practice sharing.
Support site compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations through audits, inspections, monitoring programs, and corrective action initiatives.
Lead and participate in corporate EHS compliance audits across multiple manufacturing locations.
Drive the implementation of both short-term and long-term EHS objectives and corporate initiatives.
Champion a proactive safety culture through communication, engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.
Partner with operational and corporate leaders to provide EHS expertise, guidance, and strategic support.
Track performance metrics, support budgeting activities, and report progress toward EHS goals and objectives.
Provide direct onsite EHS leadership during the initial assignment, including leadership and development of site EHS personnel.
Maintain strong professional development and industry engagement to ensure current knowledge of regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of combined EHS and manufacturing operations experience.
3-5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing EHS teams.
Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, auditing, and management systems.
Experience developing and maintaining EHS management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and/or similar frameworks.
