Overview
My client is seeking a results-driven Domestic Transportation Sales Manager to lead revenue growth through strategic business development and client relationship management within our 3PL logistics offerings.
This role focuses on expanding market share across domestic freight services including truckload (FTL), LTL, intermodal, and dedicated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new business across domestic transportation markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, closing, and onboarding
- Develop tailored logistics solutions based on client needs
- Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements
- Track performance, forecast sales, and report activity via CRM tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales experience in domestic transportation, preferably within a 3PL environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. freight markets (FTL, LTL, intermodal)
- Proven success in business development and revenue generation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
