EHS Engineer

The Responsibilities of the EHS Engineer will include:

  • Lead environmental compliance programs and support regulatory excellence across site operations.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives focused on emissions reduction, waste minimization, energy efficiency, and environmental stewardship.
  • Manage air permitting, wastewater compliance, hazardous waste programs, and environmental reporting requirements.
  • Analyze ESG and EHS metrics to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Partner with operations and site leadership to strengthen environmental performance and safety culture.
  • Support employee training, industrial hygiene programs, and site-wide EHS initiatives.
  • Serve as a key environmental and safety resource for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The ideal EHS Engineer will have the following skillsets:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, chemical, or related environments.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting wastewater, air emissions, hazardous waste, or sustainability programs.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and occupational safety initiative
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for driving operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with multiple teams
