This organization is seeking a Maintenance & Automation Engineering Manager to lead plant engineering activities, drive equipment reliability, and support automated warehouse systems. This individual will oversee maintenance technicians and automation specialists while serving as a key point of contact for operations and customer support teams. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with hands-on technical experience in automated equipment, electro-mechanical systems, and reliability improvement.

Responsibilities:

* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance and automation technicians

* Oversee preventive & corrective maintenance across conveyors, automated vehicles, and electro-mechanical systems

* Support customer-facing communication regarding uptime, issues, and root-cause investigations

* Lead troubleshooting efforts involving electrical systems, schematics, VFDs, sensors, and basic PLC fault diagnostics

* Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, documentation, and reliability improvement initiatives

* Ensure safety compliance, spare-part strategy, and continuous improvement across all engineering functions

Required Experience:

* Prior leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance, engineering, or automation teams

* Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting background

* Experience with material-handling systems (conveyors, forklifts, AGVs/LGVs)

* Ability to interpret electrical schematics and support controls troubleshooting

* Proven customer service mindset with strong communication skills

* Background in reliability engineering, industrial maintenance, or automation

* Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or strong equivalent experience
