General Manager of Sales - SEA Markets - Hybrid

My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager of Sales to spearhead our client's operations across the Southeast Asia (SEA) markets.

As a hybrid role, it combines the flexibility of strategic planning with the necessity of on-the-ground execution, ensuring a well-rounded approach to achieving business goals. You will be instrumental in driving regional growth, building strong stakeholder relationships, and fostering an environment of excellence and innovation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the SEA markets, ensuring these strategies are in alignment with the overall organizational goals and values.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients across the region to not only drive immediate business development but also to secure sustainable growth and expand the company's market share.
  • Closely monitor market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to anticipate changes, seize opportunities, and maintain a strong competitive edge in the industrial machinery sector.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing, motivated, and results-driven sales team, providing them with the tools, guidance, and support needed to exceed performance targets and deliver exceptional results.

Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to ensure a seamless and effective approach to achieving business objectives. Furthermore, you will serve as a key representative of the company in the SEA region, embodying its values, vision, and commitment to excellence.

Job Requirement:

  • Deep and detailed understanding of the industrial machinery industry, including its technologies, market dynamics, and operational challenges, is essential for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing and managing complex sales operations across diverse and geographically spread-out markets, with a focus on achieving measurable results and long-term growth.
