Indirect Sourcing Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Indirect Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives across MRO, Facilities, and IT categories. This role will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings while ensuring quality and service excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy Development: Design and implement sourcing strategies for MRO, Facilities, and IT categories that align with organizational goals and deliver long-term value.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Facilities, Engineering, Finance) to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.

  • Cost Reduction & Value Creation: Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and process optimization.

  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Market & Spend Analysis: Conduct market intelligence and spend analysis to identify trends, benchmark pricing, and inform sourcing decisions.

  • Sustainability & ESG Alignment: Support corporate sustainability goals by incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into sourcing decisions.

  • Process Improvement: Drive procurement process improvements and standardization across categories to enhance efficiency and transparency.

  • Technology & Tools Utilization: Leverage procurement technologies (e.g., e-sourcing platforms, spend analytics tools) to enhance sourcing effectiveness and reporting.

  • Budget & Forecasting Support: Collaborate with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for indirect spend categories.

  • Supplier Diversity Initiatives: Promote supplier diversity by identifying and engaging with diverse and underrepresented suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred)

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing, with a strong focus on MRO, Facilities, and IT categories

  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings, supplier consolidation, and process improvements

  • Strong understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO), category management, and strategic sourcing methodologies

  • Experience negotiating complex contracts, including service level agreements (SLAs), licensing, and multi-year agreements

  • Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa)

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of the organization

  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

  • Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and sustainability practices in procurement

  • Familiarity with IT sourcing, including hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, and managed services

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities.
