Launch Readiness & Lifecycle Management Leader

This senior-level leadership role is responsible for driving the successful planning, readiness, and execution of new product launches and major lifecycle initiatives. Acting as a key link between commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams, this individual ensures new products are brought to market efficiently while balancing business objectives, supply capabilities, and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on developing launch strategies, assessing readiness, identifying risks early, and leading cross-functional decision-making to support successful commercialization efforts. This position plays a critical role in accelerating product launches, improving launch excellence processes, and ensuring patients gain timely access to innovative therapies.

Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead launch readiness and governance activities for new products and major lifecycle initiatives.
  • Oversee launch milestones, stage-gate reviews, and readiness assessments.
  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory stakeholders to align launch plans and execution strategies.
  • Manage portfolio-level visibility across multiple launch programs and lifecycle events.
  • Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Guide supply chain, distribution, and flow-of-goods strategies to support product launches.
  • Facilitate strategic decisions involving launch timing, product scope, supply constraints, and SKU strategies.
  • Present launch readiness status, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement of launch management tools, processes, and best practices.

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years of supply chain experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong experience supporting global product launches, lifecycle management, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Expertise in supply chain strategy, commercialization, distribution models, and regulated environments.
  • Experience managing complex launches, constrained supply situations, or high-priority product introductions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience evaluating business risks and supporting executive-level decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS certification or comparable supply chain credential.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or related continuous improvement experience.
