Maintenance Manager
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations and drive equipment reliability, asset performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is responsible for managing maintenance personnel, developing maintenance strategies, improving uptime, and supporting safe, efficient production operations. The position plays a key role in supporting business growth, operational excellence, and long-term plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations to maximize equipment reliability, plant efficiency, and production uptime.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies that improve asset performance and reduce downtime.
- Utilize CMMS systems to plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance activities.
- Manage, develop, and mentor maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Lead reliability, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, facility improvements, and engineering initiatives.
- Manage contractors, maintenance budgets, spare parts strategies, and maintenance records.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to improve plant performance and support future growth.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain visibility on the production floor, identify risks, and drive corrective actions to improve safety and operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading maintenance teams, managing maintenance strategies, and driving equipment reliability improvements.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems.
- Understanding of industrial process equipment, electrical systems, and manufacturing technologies.
- Project management experience supporting capital investments and facility improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with predictive maintenance technologies, PLCs, data systems, or CAD software is a plus.

- Combination of office and manufacturing floor responsibilities.
- Frequent interaction with production equipment, maintenance activities, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on leadership presence throughout the facility to support safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
