Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a third-shift maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing equipment repairs, coordinating maintenance activities, and providing technical support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The supervisor will report to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager and collaborate closely with production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage third-shift maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs.
  • Allocate maintenance resources to support operational needs and maximize production efficiency.
  • Develop and execute daily maintenance plans aligned with production schedules and workload requirements.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting assistance to technicians and production staff.
  • Review and update preventive maintenance (PM) work orders and communicate necessary changes to management.
  • Support technician training and development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Ensure high standards of work quality and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance role.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills; electrical or controls experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
