Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift)
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead overnight maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position is suited for a hands-on leader who excels at developing technical teams, resolving equipment challenges, and driving performance in safety, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Schedule:
Night Shift | 12-hour rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians in a continuous-operation production facility.
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to support operational goals and maximize equipment uptime.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and ongoing technical guidance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations personnel to improve equipment performance, communication, and workflow efficiency.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, asset reliability enhancements, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor maintenance performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, motor controls, automation, and pneumatic equipment.
- Experience maintaining production, packaging, or processing equipment.
- Familiarity with programmable control systems and industrial automation platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of thermal processing, fluid handling, or similar manufacturing processes is beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership, troubleshooting, and project coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or enterprise maintenance software preferred.
