Mechanical Engineer - Ingot Operations
We're partnering with a leading metals manufacturer to identify a Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance and operations within a large-scale ingot production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and process issues to determine root cause and implement solutions
- Support equipment reliability, rebuilds, and capital improvement projects
- Develop and improve maintenance, repair, and equipment upgrade procedures
- Provide technical leadership for critical manufacturing equipment
- Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- Experience with industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, gearing, pumps, and piping systems
- CAD experience
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing or metals industry experience preferred
- Entry-level candidates and recent Mechanical Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply
