Mechanical Engineer - Ingot Operations

We're partnering with a leading metals manufacturer to identify a Mechanical Engineer to support maintenance and operations within a large-scale ingot production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and process issues to determine root cause and implement solutions
  • Support equipment reliability, rebuilds, and capital improvement projects
  • Develop and improve maintenance, repair, and equipment upgrade procedures
  • Provide technical leadership for critical manufacturing equipment
  • Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Experience with industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, gearing, pumps, and piping systems
  • CAD experience
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Manufacturing or metals industry experience preferred
  • Entry-level candidates and recent Mechanical Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply
