The facility operates under strict quality and regulatory standards, including AS9100, ISO, ITAR, and Nadcap, and maintains a strong culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will support optimization of electroforming processes, contribute to new product introduction, and help drive overall operational performance across production.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize electroforming and related metal‑forming processes to improve accuracy, repeatability, throughput, and cost performance.
  • Improve mandrel preparation, handling, and maintenance practices to extend tool life and enhance production yields.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects, including Lean initiatives, 6S, root‑cause analysis, and TPM activities.
  • Provide hands‑on engineering support for process and equipment troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor.
  • Collaborate with operators, technicians, and cross‑functional teams to refine plating parameters and material characteristics.
  • Ensure all processes align with applicable quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Support quality assurance efforts through strong process controls and participation in non‑conformance investigations and corrective actions.
  • Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth integration of new electroformed components into production.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including procedures, process guidelines, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, or precision metal manufacturing.
  • Experience with electroforming, plating, or additive metal deposition processes is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and related continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO, ITAR, and Nadcap quality frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, hands‑on problem‑solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with production, quality, and technical teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required due to controlled‑data access regulations.
