Position Summary

Lead the design and strategic development of processes for newly awarded programs across multiple operational sites. Guide cross-functional teams in implementing innovative paint technologies and equipment, ensuring alignment with performance, cost, and timeline goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the development of paint systems and tools in collaboration with both product and industrial engineering teams.
  • Ensure all paint-related systems meet defined standards for quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while minimizing resource impact.
  • Maintain budget discipline and cost optimization throughout project phases.
  • Enforce design principles that support paint process efficiency.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Apply best practices, lessons learned, and operational standards consistently.
  • Support staffing efforts for centralized engineering teams.
  • Align team capabilities with evolving project needs.
  • Monitor and manage team-related costs and budgets.
  • Recommend tools and methods to enhance development efficiency and output quality.
  • Participate in critical launch activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven success in managing advanced development projects.
  • Hands-on experience in paint process development or production environments.
