This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, production, maintenance, quality, reliability, and financial performance while developing a high-performing team and culture. Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of facility performance and lead strategic initiatives that improve productivity, operational efficiency, employee engagement, and long-term business results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations, maintenance, reliability, safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Drive a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.
- Develop, coach, and mentor plant leadership teams, supervisors, and salaried personnel.
- Ensure achievement of production, quality, cost, inventory, and profitability objectives.
- Establish and execute strategic plans to improve operational performance and business results.
- Champion Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, finance, human resources, and other support functions to achieve business objectives.
- Lead operational excellence initiatives focused on productivity, reliability, and cost reduction.
- Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
- Support workforce planning, succession development, and employee engagement efforts.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to drive sustainable performance improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with responsibility for plant operations, production, maintenance, or facility management.
- Experience leading large teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success driving safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management, and operational performance management.
- Proven ability to lead change and influence teams across multiple functions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-development skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with experience implementing sustainable process improvements.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Wood Science, or a related field.
- Experience within wood products, forest products, building materials, plywood, lumber, engineered wood, OSB, or other heavy manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, 5S, or similar operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience leading large capital projects and facility improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated success improving safety, reliability, quality, and production performance metrics.
- Experience developing future leaders and building high-performing leadership teams.
