Company Summary:

A global specialty chemicals organization is seeking a Process Engineer II to support manufacturing operations within a high-performance production environment. This role sits within a leading advanced materials business serving the electronics industry, offering the opportunity to work on critical processes that impact product quality, efficiency, and reliability.

The Process Engineer II will be responsible for:

  • Production Monitoring & Support - Monitor day-to-day manufacturing processes for quality, cycle time, and consistency with established procedures.
  • SPC & Process Control - Track and manage statistical process control (SPC) data to ensure processes remain within control and identify trends.
  • Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis - Investigate out-of-spec product and process deviations, driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality & Compliance Support - Manage nonconforming material reports (NCMRs), support customer complaints, and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Documentation & Continuous Improvement - Develop and update work instructions, support process improvements, and contribute to yield, cost, and efficiency gains.

The Process Engineer II should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment.
  • Experience with batch manufacturing, process troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Familiarity with SPC, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Self-starter mindset with ability to proactively identify and address process challenges.
