Process Engineer
We are seeking a Process Engineer to support high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing with a focus on Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA). This role will drive process improvements, troubleshoot production issues, and support new product launches while ensuring quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Support and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes including SMT, reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, ICT, and functional testing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues using methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, and 5 Why.
- Troubleshoot production and assembly issues using root cause analysis techniques.
- Support new product introductions (NPI), process validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing work instructions, process parameters, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and process controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on experience with PCBA processes and SMT manufacturing.
- Knowledge of IPC standards, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing environments preferred.
