Description
As a Process Development Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, optimisation and integration of advanced semiconductor processes. Working within a highly collaborative R&D environment, you will partner closely with device engineers, process specialists, simulation experts and customers to drive technology innovation from concept through to industrialisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimising semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Designing, executing and analysing process development experiments.
- Supporting technology development and process integration activities.
- Investigating process challenges and implementing robust technical solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and customers.
- Contributing to the introduction of new technologies and manufacturing capabilities.
- Driving continuous innovation within advanced semiconductor R&D programmes.
Requirements
- Degree, MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor process development, process integration, device development or technology R&D.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical projects.
- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, collaborative engineering environment.
Candidates from adjacent semiconductor disciplines are encouraged to apply, particularly those with a strong process development or R&D background.
