Position Summary

As a Program Manager III, you will lead complex, high-visibility programs within our defense and space portfolio. You will be responsible for the successful execution of program objectives, including cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a deep understanding of defense contracting and aerospace systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-million-dollar defense and space programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including government customers and subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage integrated master schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and program performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, government regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS), and company policies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams.
  • Prepare and present program reviews, status reports, and executive briefings.
  • Identify and resolve program issues, risks, and opportunities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal development, cost estimation, and customer engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of program/project management experience in aerospace, defense, or related industries.
  • Proven track record managing complex programs with government or DoD customers.
  • Strong understanding of program management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Earned Value Management).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
