Project Engineering Manager

Overview

  • Lead and oversee all capital projects within the manufacturing facility in Thailand, enabling business growth, innovation, productivity, sustainability, and operational excellence.
  • Translate commercial strategy, holistic cost management goals, productivity targets, and operational requirements into strong engineering solutions, ensuring full compliance and alignment with long‑term strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Capital Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the site's Engineering Annual Operating Plan (AOP), long‑term strategic roadmap, and full CAPEX portfolio.
  • Identify long‑term capacity requirements and asset needs to support business expansion.
  • Define capital investment solutions that address growth, productivity, sustainability, and operational requirements.
  • Prepare and govern Capital Expenditure Requests (CARs) with strong financial discipline and risk management.
  • Manage program-level OPEX and optimize asset lifecycle performance and utilization.

Project Execution & Governance

  • Lead major capital projects from concept development to commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, within scope, and with full operational acceptance.
  • Ensure adherence to all corporate and regulatory standards, including GMP, Safety, Sustainability, GCS, FM Global, and LEED requirements.
  • Drive best‑practice project management processes, including risk mitigation, change control, performance monitoring, and governance reporting.
  • Escalate critical risks and maintain effective communication with cross‑functional stakeholders across plant and regional teams.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with strategic suppliers, procurement teams, and global engineering networks.

Technical & Organizational Leadership

  • Deliver technical solutions that support long‑term reliability, sustainability objectives, and business continuity planning.
  • Build and strengthen Maintenance & Reliability capabilities toward world‑class standards, including TPM and PeMM frameworks.
  • Provide engineering leadership on cross‑functional initiatives in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Innovation, and Operations.
  • Foster a safety‑first, performance‑driven culture aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 10 years of engineering or manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Proven success in delivering large‑scale capital projects, including both brownfield and greenfield developments.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands‑on experience managing CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Deep technical knowledge of food manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English.
