QA Manager - Food Manufacturing & Production
A well-established leader in food manufacturing is seeking a QA/Technical Services Manager to join their high-performing team. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to lead quality assurance and technical services across multiple locations, driving excellence, safety, and continuous improvement in a dynamic production environment.
The QA Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead and manage quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards
- Conduct internal audits and support external inspections (HACCP, GMP, FSMA, etc.)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain and improve quality documentation, metrics, and reporting systems
- Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality and food safety protocols
- Analyze product specifications and oversee inspections to ensure consistent quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Coordinate with other Quality Managers to ensure standardized practices across locations
The ideal QA Manager candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or technical services within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and quality systems
- Proven leadership and team collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to travel between locations and work cross-functionally
