Quality Manager
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading manufacturing organization seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and customer quality performance at their Oklahoma City facility. This individual will be responsible for managing the Quality Management System (QMS), leading a team of quality professionals, driving root cause analysis efforts, and ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the site's Quality Management System to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards.
- Manage and develop Quality Engineers, Quality Supervisors, and quality personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive corrective and preventive action initiatives through structured root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Analyze warranty, customer, and internal quality data to identify trends and implement improvement actions.
- Partner closely with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns, improve product performance, and strengthen relationships.
- Support APQP, PPAP, Process Control Plans, and product launch quality activities.
- Lead customer visits, audits, and quality-related reviews.
- Champion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and environmental management system requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading Quality Engineers, Supervisors, or quality teams.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with customer-facing quality responsibilities and supplier quality management.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and corrective action processes.
- Experience working within IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 environments strongly preferred.
- Background within automotive, industrial manufacturing, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
