About the Company

Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturer of industrial equipment, delivering customized, high-performance solutions to customers across multiple sectors. With continued investment and growth in China, they are looking to appoint an experienced Regional Business Manager to lead their domestic sales organization and drive sustainable business expansion.

Position Overview

The Regional Business Manager - Domestic Market will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies across the assigned territory in China. This leadership role focuses on growing revenue, strengthening key customer relationships, and managing a professional sales team in a technically driven, project-based sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the commercial team to deliver consistent performance and long-term growth.
  • Define and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and market penetration targets within the domestic market.
  • Drive complex, solution-based sales cycles, including opportunity qualification, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor market dynamics, customer demand, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, and performance analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, marketing, and operations teams to ensure customer-focused solutions and successful project execution.
  • Travel regularly within China to support sales activities and customer engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive sales management experience within industrial or heavy equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong background in managing technically complex products and large, project-oriented sales processes, serving customers in critical infrastructure, industrial, or energy-related applications.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams and delivering sustained revenue growth in competitive markets.
  • Strategic and commercially minded, with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret sales data, assess market trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel within China.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is required.
