Reliability Engineer | Nekoosa, WI
Join a large-scale manufacturing operation where you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and driving maintenance excellence. This position partners closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to develop and execute reliability strategies that support plant performance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive equipment reliability improvements through preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues
- Support maintenance outages, capital projects, and equipment improvement initiatives
- Manage and optimize PM programs, equipment strategies, and asset documentation
- Utilize predictive technologies including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and lubrication analysis
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve asset performance, reduce costs, and increase uptime
- Manage contractor performance and support reliability best practices across the site
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- 2+ years of reliability, maintenance, or mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and reliability methodologies
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), FMEA, SAP, or CMMS platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
