Reliability Maintenance Supervisor

A manufacturing facility in the Albion, Michigan area is seeking a Reliability/Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. This role will lead maintenance and reliability efforts within a fast-paced industrial operation, driving equipment uptime, asset reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Reliability/Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Lead and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Drive preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
  • Partner with Operations to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering accountability and problem-solving.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through hazard identification and risk reduction initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance best practices.
  • Utilize CMMS tools to manage work orders, track performance, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, cost reduction, and asset life extension.

The Reliability/Maintenance Supervisor should have the following qualifications:

  • Experience leading and developing maintenance, skilled trades, or technical teams.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, production, or military environments.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with industrial controls including PLCs, drives, motors, instrumentation, and automation systems.
  • Proven track record of improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
  • Experience within packaging, corrugated, paper, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Technical education or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred.
