Sales Representative
About the Role
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling corrugated boxes and packaging solutions to new and existing customers. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying profitable opportunities, and maintaining consistent communication to ensure customer satisfaction. The representative will manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, quoting, order processing, and follow up on collections. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of corrugated packaging products, production capabilities, and pricing structures. The position involves frequent travel to customer sites, collaboration with internal teams, and adherence to company policies while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of outside sales experience
- Proven experience selling corrugated packaging or boxes
- Ability to generate new business and manage existing accounts
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Valid driver license with safe driving record
- Ability to travel regularly and transport product samples
- Experience managing collections and order follow up
- Knowledge of packaging products, processes, and costing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred, especially in packaging or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read sales reports and interpret product specifications
- Comfortable working in industrial and customer facing environments
- Self motivated with a results driven mindset
- Ability to follow company policies and meet performance standards
